The American contribution to the Agriculture workshop in Bonn on 4 April, staged by the UNFCCC was short but sweet to the ears: "Noting that agriculture and forestry could offset 10-25% of his country’s current emissions, the US stressed the importance of including agriculture in the climate regime," ran one report.
